There is a article in newspaper on adoor for flyover highway bridge in adoor passing via KSRTC stand between parathasarathy temple to Maria hospital reduce the traffic inside adoor that is not levelling any curves .

There is other articles in newspaper on adoor on no buses entering in the new private bus stand and for the new revenue tower going to build there to male the places with offices so that people and buses move there.

But this two problems can be resolved if thete is a new hifhway bridge from General hosputal junction to the other end of the town at matia hospital connecting the KP road highway in flyover highway bridge passing thatta road with slip roads starting from private bus stand at by pass road . The details are attached and mentioned below

The town authority are planning for a flyover inside the town street above the present road is not appropriate when a flyover can be build out side the city crossing thatta SH103 A highway from adoor to pathanamthitta road with slip road that will reduce vehicle to the town

At present there can be more activities if this flyover is connected to rhe new private bus stand at by pass that is also reducing the traffic in curves of karuvatta and parathasarathi temple by the flyover outside the town from private bus stand and maria hospital

At present if new roads can be build as by pass road connecting these two highway outside town limits so that town can be widened and there by reducing curves in road alignment & geometery by straightening these road by by-pass and also extending the nellimoottil padi to High school junction by pass to new by pass like Holycross to kottamughal via pannivizha and kottamughal to Nellimoottil padi making a ring road also

In view of the rising number of vehicles in Adoor town ,  the road crossing need pedestrian fly over 

Elevated highway - In kerala connecting highway by intermediate Town elevated road & Flyover bridge is better than town by pass road . By pass road acquring of land & relocation can be nullified by flyovers roads like in T.N . The town consisting of one major NH junction & intermediate joining can be connected by a elevated road & flyover bridge above town roads is better than junction & round about signals joint., By pass roads to town build on urban & Agri land , water resources & water bodies can be nullified by flyover roads

The fly over need to be build as underpass depending of elevation  of area like in


  1. 1.Adur private bus stand area with government office and revenue tower , Underpass in Oblique angle
  2. 2. KSRTC bus stand  Underpass 
  3. 3. Adoor river bridge  Underpass
  4. 4. Center toll pedestrain crossing overpass to Holy angels school 
  5. The flyover to be build as over from holy angels schools so that children can cross. the road 
  6. The flyover need to build as per the geography of the place , like wise it is important that the water collection to overcomes as the flyover is underpass 
  7. In the underpass pedestrian crossing at Private bus stand ,the underpass is built no hozontally but in a obligue or acute angle so that water flows out due to the elevation of the place as on opening end is lower the the other opening door so that water flows out of the other door exit in rainy season , connecting the two door of the underpass in a angle so that one door is lower end of the elevation 
  8. In the underpass at KSRTC one end door is not having a staircase as the KSRTC is a lower land area from the road and there is no steps build to go to KSRTC stand from other side of the road , but to other area steps ate necessary and people can move out from KSRTC stand  roads 
  9. Under pass under the river bridge area for crossing the road and crossing the river if the lower roads are connected slightly above the water and below the bridge
  10. Over pass for holy angels school children is necessary and over pass can be build as the school is avove the road 
  11. Such pedestrian crossing can benefit , and there is no need to build new bridge against the old bridge that fall down in rain 
  12. Even though Adur is going to have by pass ring road in next two Yeats this is a immediate development work as ring road for adur town will take time
  13. Adur cathedral area had to build with pedestrian walk way from adur and water ways that are. Filled with building waste had to cleaned so that water logging in thatta road near cathedral at sreyas aramana point can be controlled
  14. Water logging in adur town is a real problem in rainy season and immediate action to be taken , and water logging for pedestrians can be controlled by pedestrian crossing bridges at private bus stand , KSRTC , bridge and for holy angels school

NATIONAL HIGHWAY PROJECT IN ADOOR TOWN IN PATHANAMTHITTA DISTRICT WITH NEW ROADS , WIDENING AND STRAIGTENING THE HIGHWAY PASSING 

Widening and straightening the SH National highway Roads- Adur town is connected with three highway and the small  adur town is not able to traffic from three highway passing due to geometry and limited space .the highways are

1.MC  - SH1 Road extending from kottayam to trivandrum 
2. KP - SH5Road. Extending from kayamkulam to punaloor
3.SH183A - SH Road extending from kollam to dendigil going to sabarimala  

The Adur Town Development projects is converting the road to big roads by - 

1.Straightening & Widening K.P Road SH5  from High school Junction to Kottamugal passing through adoor town 

2. New By pass Road From Nellimoottil Padi place  to kottamugal place in the eastern side of  Adur connecting M C SH Road to KP Road in the outer boundaries

3.Widening and Straightening that SH 183A  from Adur Central from KP roads to Anandapally place 
The crisis in Adur
Adur municipality Ruling and oppostion members are  divided on New Private bus stand as the Municipality is not able to make private bus via the new bus standing that is constructed years before and want to relocate  new building projects around the new bus stand place  to make people and bus to use the new  bus stand from old private bus stand by relocating the  revenue tower office from the old private bus stand to the new bus stand is inappropriate now as the problems of adur is different . The Council opposition member react and blame the Adur Munciplaity ruling party for this reason.

The major problems is the Adur by pass is not able to reduce the traffic blocks inside the town due such issue's in adur municipality  and  the traffic blocks inside the town is stand still  due to three long SH roads can be resolved if the SH Roads are connected with easy exit and entrance to the town in all direction by straightening and widening the SH Roads like KP road SH5  , MC Road SH1 , SH 103 A roads  to the Geometry of the town . 

The adur town SH road problems can be resolved if the long route SH roads from  kollam to dendigil SH 183A ,  kayamkulam to punalor KP road SH5 is widened and sharpened with respect to the Adur town Geometry and to the existing by pass MC Road SH1 

HIGHWAY PROJECT IN KOCHI

Road widening and straightening was done before in Kochi to Agamaly highway where the old road straightening and widening is done in between South Kalamasaery and North kalamassery from panchayat place is done by levelling the barren lands and making it as a straight road similar to this had reduce the distance and other issues while constructing in 1994 year by technI bharathi and somadath builders .




Adur town added by central goverment in Highway projects 

This widening and straightening can be included in the national highway projects as adur town is included in the national highway projects of India 

The work of straightening and widening the part of the existing KP Road 

1. KP road in  Parthasarathy temple place to thatta road till KP road on other side , 
2. from KP road Immanuel marthoma church place to crossing by By pass and joining at KP Road in high school junction , 
3. extending & widening  the MC road from Karuvatta to the MC road to kottayam, 
4. widening the SH183A from KP Road till Anandapally place where there is a cluster of road and small roads .
5 by pass road from Nellimootilpadi to kottamugal as SH183A

Soil levelling work should done with land acquiring 

Widening and straightening was not done due to elevation in place in height and depth and this can be done by filling the low level land by soil of high level land in the new road direction similarly done kochi to agamaly highway in kalamassery is shown in the files like filling the low level land of paddy with elevated rubber land where the parathasarathy temple high level land soil can fill the low level paddy land in the new road direction .

When widening and straightening is done with the geometer and direction of SH road direction , the present problems of adur town like new bus stand proper development will be possible also  not by relocating the revenuen office from old private stand to new stands and reducing the accident in the SH road curves , and traffic blocks in Adur junctions 

So I had attached a graphical file to show the new roads of adur and ask government to intervene and solve the problems of adur from crisis that not end in fights

 Adoor town is connected to trivandrum , kollam, kayamkulam , punaloor , pathanthitta, kottayam  by the road

 Adoor town road network consist of MC Road in Red line as  National highway MC Road  passing in the outer limits of the town in the by pass road and the new roads are given in red dotted lines
The Navy blue line is the National highway  KP road going through the Adoor Town in which the yellow line with dash line is the road straightened area of the KP Road passing by the Adoor town to avoid curves and this road widening to be done and the new KP road are given in yeloow dotted lines

In adoor town as vehicles are passing as there is roads connected to different places , As the KP road is not straight and not widened , there is traffic block inside the adoor town where dark violet line meet the KP road from thatta

Adoor town is includes in national highway development program , kindly take steps to widen and straighten the KP road highway and to stop the one way in orange line and by pass to KP road

The Punalur the hill city of kerala and in road network of punalur the longest highway passing punaloor town is SH 744 kollam to Chenkotta High way and in railway network kollam to Chenkotta railway line is passing punalur with railway station in punalur . SH 744 is the only highway passing punaloor from kollam to chenkotta and other highway is Punalur to kayamkulam SH 5 passing pathanapuram and adoor SH 5 and Punalur to Ayoor passing Anchal SH 48 . In the river network consist of kallada river , irrigation project canal , dam is located in Punalur which is the largest irrigation project in kerala and the canal from kallada dam extends to niranam in kuttanad and to kollam district of kerala in other side

The Punalur by pass project is constructing the bypass road network connecting SH 744 (kollam to chenkotta) highway outside punaloor town by ring road in red lines & is connecting other highway SH 5 and SH 48 outside city in blue lines will reduce the vehicle flow inside town at Punalur center junction as these highway are joining now near hospital and KSRTC bus stand where accidents are frequent due to no traffic light signals , no pedestrain walk ways , no parking space etc for shops & offices and is now due to no space avaiable as this three highway passing at KSRTC center , kallara river bridge and railway lines

The geometry of by pass in red lines is a parallel road to SH 744 highway inside city intersecting other highway SH5 and SH 48 in blue lines

The Punalur Suspension Bridge, located in punaloor is the oldest motorable Bridge in kerala , which was built by travancore Government and is now a historical attraction. The bridge has a length of 400 feet (120 m). The suspension bridge was built to prevent wild animals from crossing into the town from the forest area of old Kattupathanapuram.

The other main roads to punalur are kulatupuzha to punalur via SH 48 and SH 744.

The major tourist attractions is hanging bridge and thermala eco tourisam projects in thermala in the punalur to Thenkqssi road fue distance away from punalur with thermala tourisam package starts from punalur town

Rs 17 crore road works in kottayam for the development of the Ettumanoor- Neendur- kallara road and link road from this road

the link road between Pravattom Junction and Panambalam will be used by people from kumarakom , cherthala to medical college , university and also a bypass road to ettumanoor reaching kottayam medical college road

2) North MC road between trivandrum and kottayam from thiruvella - puthupally - KK Road Manargad highway

Other by pass road is 20 crore project to connect thiruvella to KK road via manargad

3) Connecting K K road and M C Road and other highway outside kottayam city project from PWD to NH Highway work

These two highway are PWD works under M.P funds widening , updating , balancing the existing road network by removing illegal construction and reconstruction of road from thiruvella to manargad or Thalayolaparabu to chungam had not reduced the traffic in KK road , MC road road or shastri road inside kottayam can be overcomed by a ring road rather than PWD road works by bypass parallel to KK road extending S13 , S9 , S42 outside city by flyovers can be build not making all highway , connecting KK road & MC road to enter the city at peak traffic times on NH authorities works than PWD

Kottarakara town is with Road and railway network and town roads are connected by high way in four side . The present old road network can be updated with new by pass roads that is expanding the town rather than by a flyover bridges in SH1 and SH8 crossing .

Kottarakara town PWD works - Public Works Department. It is a Govt. of India department which deals with the construction and maintenance of public infrastructures like roads, government building, bridges, water systems, and more. Is now adays is widening the roads by removing illegal construction in PWD land for roads . The present kottarakara town is widened by PWD by removing illegal construction in PWD land is providing space for two lane in junction of kottarakara but the remaing stretch of road is not two lane in kottarakara in SH1 roads is making traffic conjunction. The present road network with single lane roads due to lack of space for parking and traffic can be resolved by a by pass road to SH1 MC road and SH8 road outside the city in red and blue line where red is SH1 and blue is SH8 kollam to punaloor highway with yellow town roads

Drivers today mainly use digital maps to orientate themselves, to plan a journey and to navigate to their destination. , as the driving task gradually shifts from the driver to in-vehicle automated systems, but rather a machine who has the control of the vehicle by the navigation maps

I assume the blue line overpass and red line under pass geometry is correct if at a elevated height road or flyover due to the brown road that is parallel to the red as the red and brown over pass is not a correct geometery as given in maps

2) Tunnel crossing if blue casing road in tunnel way below ground level and red casing road on ground level

If the red road casing is over pass and blue road casing is under pass the geometry changes as the red road casing is on the earth level and blue line road casing is passing via tunnel road beneath the ground level so the parallel brown road to red line casing is on the ground level not at a elevated height , then the red line casing is over pass and blue line casing is underpass not in elevated height but below the ground level as the over pass is on ground level , incase by tunnel way for blue casing road the red road can be overpass not at elevated height but at ground level so the both the geometry is correct as per the topography of the place

The urban link road highway connecting harayan intermediate delhi metro area like Gurugram, faridabad and uttarpradesh delhi east metro intermediate places Noida and Gazidabad other than by the outer ring , delhi & Haryana/ uttarpradesh boundary signature bridge build 2018 and kalindi kunj barage bridge build 2019

Capital Delhi city new ring urban road link highway connecting intermediate places and inhabited area like Gurugram - Faridabad , noida - Gazidabad construction can reduce the traffic flow inside delhi roads , by Signature bridge build in 2018 to Gazidabad and in kalindi kunj barage new bridge to noida build in 2019 .

The direction map shown between Gurugram to noida cannot reach by faridabad but via kalindi kunj barage inside delhi not on outer area of delhi even if tgere is a road connecting Gurugram and faridabad but no beyond because of Yamuna river .

Extending faridabad to noida outside can reduce the traffic flow and reduce pollution in delhi inside area like kalindi kunj garage bridge and signature bridge

A outer ring road connecting Gurugram _ faridabad- noida - Gazidabad and on the other end like bahadurgrah can connect many high outside city area like intermediate urban area Gurugram , faridabad , Noida and Gazidabad and to bahudurgrah

The only obstacle behind is Gurugram and faridabad is in Haryana and Noida and Gazidabad is in uttarpradesh and this signature and kalindi kunj barage bridge is boundary gate between Haryana and uttarpradesh and this new link highway need another bridge that will be the boundary gate way between two states as the western side of Yamuna consist of Gurugram & faridabad is Haryana and eastern part of Yamuna consist of Noida and Gazidabad is uttarpradesh

These link highway passing in the territory boundary of two states is not passing via old delhi that is build witg monument

The entire project can be implemented in phases 1 and phase 2

phase 1 is the project are of western delhi like include bahudurgrah intermediate territory southern delhi which is part of Gurugram , south wesrern delhi which is part of faridabad , southern delhi in uttarpradesh which is part of Noida and eastern delhi which is Gazidabad highway can be noida if there is a New bridge over Yamuna like the kalindi kunj barage bridge in between faridabad and Noida as there is connectivity in remaining area

And phase 2 is extending this road in Eatern and western delhi by North east and north west region by a New bridge across Yamuna like signature bridge

The Ken-Betwa ILR project aims to transfer surplus water from the Ken River to the Betwa basin through

The project will benefit Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh in terms of meeting irrigation, drinking water and electricity needs of people across 6 districts in the two states.

The 221-km concrete canal will pass through Jhansi, Banda and Mahoba districts of Uttar Pradesh and Chhatarpur, Panna and Tikamgarh districts of Madhya Pradesh and series of barrages and dams connecting the Ken and Betwa rivers The key projects are Makodia and Dhaudhan dams.

It will irrigate 3.5 lakh hectares in Madhya Pradesh and 14,000 hectares of Uttar Pradesh, in Bundelkhand.

It will benefit 5 districts of Madhya Pradesh (Chhatarpur, Raisen, Panna,Tikamgarh, and Vidisha) and 3 districts of Uttar Pradesh (Mahoba, Jhansi and Banda) by assured irrigation supply, domestic and industrial water supply and power., drought and more jobs

Quality work in the production of Navigation map 
Quality work of the map is making the productivity grade of the digitized to 100% and that is very important in navigation map so that correct data can be given be the beneficiary or the customer 
The Task of the Quality check process in the Navigation map and they are as follows and depend sources and data given with work instruction : 
1. Checking of the maps is done with  Geometry Correction of the digitized map and is doen by Accurate by shaping of te digitized lines , slip road geometry, etc and digitized line should be along the scanned map casing and done by visual check or grid wise  checks 
2. Dead End in the digitized lines and is corrected on the connectivity of the lines as per the map sources and the side maps
3. Missing roads can be corrected by digitizing  all the resources and roads  in the map mainly in the city maps that is with other scale size
4. Line type Errors can be corrected by Digitizing the map with correct line types, thickness and colour and correct type are given like Motor highway with red and blue line , Dual carriage roads with line in the middle ,trunk highway with large yellow line and province highway with narrow yellow line and brown and white other roads can be given correctly by giving the correct line type 
4(a)  : Direction of the roads had to be correct even if there is slip road geometry with  correct types and level with highway  
5. Level correction : The correct level is given each type segment so that map can be more visible
6. Old network data matching . All the data in the old network digital map had to given while digitizing , if any data in the old network are not in the scanned map or other sources , the data in old network had to be given in the new map 
7.Crossing of roads . Crossing of roads and rails given with correct over pass and underpass , the data should not be incorrect while doing work with floor codes 
8.. Adding slip roads , flyover, roundabout , lay bye, bridges , had to be given in the map when there is a cluster of road meeting at  a point . 
9. Balancing of Network  : Balancing of the network is necessary with the side maps as there will be change in type and level when the town expands or the province expands with other roads . So next top levelling and type adjustment of segments had to be made on balancing of the network mainly in the highway  
10. Adding Imaginary roads . : Adding Imaginary roads is necessary if a town or village in the map is not connected with a national highway passing near by . 
11. Attribution and Text :  Attributing all the cities , towns , villages , road names , in the map with first name and second with correct type and levels , where all the sources are required to mark all roads and town names with correct spelling and special characters . 
12 : Road Naming : Adding first name and second name to segments for roads name is done done first names and codes of slip roads tunnels are entered in second 
13 Tunnel : Tunnels in the maps are entered with line type and level with signs and with  second name codes
14. Text correction : Correct spelling of text had to entered and there will not be any overlapping between text and between roads 
15. overlapping : Overlapping in the road and boundary network had to checked and overlapping of data to be reduced 
16 : Checking the intersection at junction with correct geometry  
17 . Ferry and Airline data : All ferry and airline line with types and level  had to  be entered in the map with route direction  
18. Merging of map with  map edge correction by connecting all the dead ends at the boundary of the map with next maps 
20  Railway network : correct type and level to be given all railway tracks in map with different line type with station 
21 , All map symbols , tourist places , had to be marked .  
22 : All sealed and unsealed roads with roads under construction with construction period had to be entered 
23. City roads had to entered from 1: 50 k city maps and city inserts for correct data types and levels . 
24. Polygon in maps : are givers, islands, forest are, beaches  , with point attribution with  city polygons 
25 . Boundary network : Boundary network should be with all rivers, lakes, reservoir , islands boundary, state boundary , coastline, forest area, in correct geometry , types and levels and overlapping had to be removed with Road and Boundary network are joined  with correct geometry while merging  
26 Image editing in the aerial maps are done removing the cracks and white spots in the map . Image editing is done when images overlapping and the edges of the image map with not connect with the next maps edges . 
27 Street address data base .  : The Correct address of places with P.O Box number are given as per the street address data base with respect to the GPS Longitude and latitude .
28 : Google Aerial Maps : Are used to check the Aerial data base of places with elevation 
29 : UP and down in Road s: Road Elevation had to given along the road if the roads had steep mountains while in the route .

Once the grid area is digitized and attributed in Road network , boundary network , railway network . the map are jointed together to make one country maps consisting of Roads, Slip roads, Rivers, Inland water ,boundary and with all the attribution text in the map with post office location. 
In Netedit Road and boundary are two files and Road and boundary network maps in bnd extention along the road name in other file digitized are opened on one file back ground for checks

CONCLUSION

Currently in 2021, approximately 1,642.5 km of expressways are operational in India. In 2017, the country had 200 km of expressways. All the expressways are six or more-lane controlled-access highways where entrance and exit is controlled by the use of slip roads.
In India European dual carriage roads are called Biju Expressway not express ways but called as express way like in ORISSA . It starts at Chandili and ends in Rourkela 625 KM where the last stretch of 163 KM road to west bengal the speed limit is 160 Kmph


The Greenfield express ways in India is 12 lane starting with 8 lane and there is around 26 project going to be commissioned by 2025 in major states of India expect kerala state due many reasons as the kerala goverment is doing railway projects than roads .

India SagarMala , BharatMala , corridor highway , Corridor railway is making lot of border road highway , coastline road highway that is making many development in rural and urban area at the same time connecting tier1 , tier 2 , tier 3 cities , town , villages in shortest route and time .

In my oppion Kerala State should also have express highway similar to like in other states so that people in all corner of state can travel in between kerala at shortest route and time not had to pass by conducted roads , streets due to poor roads , traffic blocks etc in day to day life like BJP goverment states are so fast in construction of express highway not like other goverment like in kerala state who are very slow in road express ways projects and railways
